Maintaining Amtico in it's pristine condition is actually quite easy, as I'm sure you are glad to hear! While Amtico can be expensive to purchase and install, you can make significant savings on maintenance. Unlike a traditional wooden floor you do not really need to worry yourself about scratches and dirt accululating in grooves. Maintenance is simple.

Basic cleaning

Amtico is waterproof, so don't be at all troubled by the notion of cleaning your floor using a mop and hot water. In fact, for everyday cleaning you can get no better than hot water and detergent. Clean the floor using this solution of water and cleaner to remove any dirt from the surface. Then make sure to clean off the dirt with fresh clean water.

Advanced cleaning

Every now and then, maybe once a year or so you will want to clean the floor thoroughly. To do so we recommend that you use one of Amtico's own cleaning products that are guaranteed to cause no damage to the floor. These will allow you to remove any old layers of polish and cleaner residue, leaving the floor is brand new condition. Once you have cleaned the floor to your satisfaction, simply apply one of the many vinyl floor polishes available that are compatible with Amtico.
